An upmarket farm stay that is completely off grid and only a short 8 minute drive to beaches, dams, rivers and shops.
Our farm house and cottage each have their own braai facility and then there is a shared braai area with pizza oven, multi-function braai, fire pit and heated salt chlorinated pool to enjoy.
We make use of rain water as the main water supply which is stored in water tanks and cleaned through filtration systems. Additionally, there are reservoirs that store water as a back-up system. All cleaning products used in the tanks and on the property are Eco-Friendly.
Our sanitation is done through underground French drains and septic tanks where we make use of organic Micro Enzymes to digest the waste. All of the electricity comes naturally from the sunshine to solar panels that power each building individually.
Dunkes Organic Equestrian Estate is managed and maintained by an excellent permanent team of staff who are passionate about what they do. The core of Dunkes Estate is nature. To preserve, nurture and grow nature around us so that we can all enjoy it’s beauty. We do this through permaculture and minimal interference or danger to all of nature including all the bugs. We have installed Owl Boxes, Bee Hives and Bird Nests to promote future generations.
